UNPACKING YOUR WELDER

RECEIVING YOUR WORKRITE ELECTRONIC WELDER

  1. After removal from the box. Check to see if all parts are included.
       Model 4000 - One Hand Unit and 4 tubes.

  2. Remove rear panel and place tubes in tube sockets.
    Connect tube leads: Wide braid to tube tops and
    narrow braid to tube sides.

  3. Replace rear panel making sure interlock switch is
    pushed in firmly.

  4. Connect Coaxial Cable clamp to panel with the two
    screws in the panel. Be sure Coaxial plug is inserted
    and tightened securely.

  5. Insert hand unit switch plug into panel receptacle.

  6. Connect power cord to wall outlet of sufficient current and voltage rating 115. volts 20Amps. 
    DO NOT USE EXTENSION CORDS
    . May cause a voltage drop.

  7. Turn on switch and always allow a two-minute warm-up period when tubes are cold.

  8. Panel lamp will glow when panel switch is turned on.

  9. Generator is now ready for use.
